Municipal Challenge to Council and School Com. Candidates
- By Green Cambridge Wednesday, November 2, 2011, 6:30-9 pm Please attend the meeting to ask future city leaders about our Alewife floodplain which is our climate health and safety net, and protections for our Alewife Reservation public land and wildlife refuge. Can we call it a wildlife preserve which is how it presently functions? And can we call it an essential climate adaptation center for the future marsh and wetlands storage of excessive rains which have begun, or set it aside to profit huge development plans for a few?
