A Georgia Brown Thrasher- Singing its heart out behind the Alewife T

A short walk around the Alewife Reservation this AM (0645-0745) found a few interesting birds. Not so rare but interesting.

Three Killdeer- the first a single bird in the parking area; then a pair in the mowed open area behind the garage that were displaying aggressively with spread-tail and broken-wing postures that strongly suggest that the are on their nest already.

A Brown Thrasher was singing his heart out perched in one of the highest trees near the commuter path but none of the commuters noticed.

No warblers!
